About the Author
I’m the daughter and granddaughter of avid Californian gardeners, and I’m just a couple generations removed from the farm; in fact, my dad spent his childhood on his family’s farm in South Dakota. There’s something in my genes, then, that makes me want to grow things.
That said, I don’t have the greenest of thumbs.
I learned about gardening in California, but a recent move to Idaho threw me for a loop. Instead being able to garden year-round, I now have a growing season of about 110 days. It’s a steep learning curve!
I’m using this blog to share my research and what I’ve learned from both amateur and expert gardeners.. Please do feel free to leave comments, ask questions, and suggest corrections or alternatives if you find I’ve made an error; I’ll try to find answers for you if I don’t already know them.
